Take me out to the ballgame!

It’s almost here!! Baseball season is upon us, with Major League baseball having opening day tomorrow.  I’ll tell you one thing, this blogger is more than excited.  I grew up going to minor league games with my family and have a baseball fan ever since I can remember.  In fact, it’s my dream in life to be able to work in baseball in some capacity.

But, back to the topic at hand…opening day.  The Cardinals and Marlins face off tonight, but most of the other teams in the MLB start their regular seasons tomorrow.  I’ve found some yummy-looking recipes reminiscent of some favorite ballpark treats!  Enjoy 🙂

I found this recipe for homemade Cracker Jacks on yumsugar.com.  I don’t really know many things that can beat caramel corn…it’s crunchy, sweet…it’s practically perfect.

The next recipe is for soft pretzels and comes from allrecipes.com.  These treats are a ballpark favorite anywhere you go and they’re pretty delicious.

Of course, you can’t beat the All-American classic, the hot dog.  There an institution at parks across the country.  Some of them even have nicknames, like the Dodger Dog and Fenway Frank.

Are you just as excited for baseball season to kick off? Let us know in the comments!

ps. do you connect with us on social media??

xoxo, Karoline
